Many clients desired WPI to provide a solution for cold room cooling that could be tied into their existing Whaley chiller cooling loop. After a review of an existing brew house heat load, if the existing chiller in the field has enough excess capacity to cool an additional cold room, a chilled glycol fan coil may be installed. The customer can Tee off the existing glycol header, and circulate the cold storage room fan coil in parallel.
For a new startup brewery, or an expansion where a new glycol system is needed, WPI can design and engineer not only the glycol chiller, but also the fan coil and supplemental room temperature control system as well.
