Brewery Process Chiller Application

brewerychillerapplication

In a brewery application, the brewery will typically install an air cooled chiller outdoors, and plumb its’ glycol inlet and outlet to several indoor process heat load applications using a common supply and return header.  A low temperature fan coil can be utilized in a cold storage room to maintain a low temperature for barrel and keg storage.  Fermentation tanks, cold liquor tanks, packaging brew tanks, and water to wort heat exchangers are all applications that might require chilled glycol from the outdoor air cooled glycol chiller system.
